This pre-assembled kit is for KU students enrolled in PRINT 243/344/349/525/528 (Serigraphy I-IV) with Shawn Bitters. This kit contains the CORE items required for the course, primarily for beginning-level students (though higher-level students may wish to purchase the kit to supplement their existing supplies at the highest possible discount, or, you might wish to come to the shop in person to select out only the parts of the kit that you need to purchase).
For all levels of students, additional supplemental materials commonly found at home (paper towels, additional drawing tools, etc.) may also be required as the semester progresses. The materials in this CORE KIT have been specifically selected by instructors to ensure students have the materials required to begin the semester and complete your first projects successfully. Students may also wish to buy sheets of paper at Wonder Fair, at the instructor's direction-- All paper purchased at time of kit pickup (and any other art supplies purchased on this visit) will also be sold at a kit price discount.

23x31 yellow 230 mesh silk screen with aluminum frame
- 1 Bottle of Black India Ink for drawing on Transparency film

2 starter packs of 8oz. each of 5 Speedball Permanent Acrylic Inks, in process cyan, process magenta, process yellow, black
- 4oz Dispenser bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol

1 roll of clear packing tape with handy tear dispenser
- 1 Prismacolor Premier coloring pencil, Black

5 sheets of 11x14 frosted Duralar for stencil drawing
- 3 sturdy paintbrushes, large flat, large round, and medium flat, for applying inks

3 oil-based Sharpie paint pens, with heavy opacity for drawing stencils on acetate
- Holbein Gouache Set, Mixing Colors set of 5 15ml in Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, White, and additional 15ml tube of Burnt Umber OR Burnt Sienna
Pick Up/Delivery Options (you will select your preference at checkout):
"Classroom Delivery": Kits can be pre-ordered online, and we will deliver your kit to your classroom at or before the beginning of your second class meeting. Please note--orders must be placed and payment complete at least 5 hours before the delivery window to ensure our staff has time to receive your order, and assemble and deliver your paid kit.
"Free Pick Up In Store": Kits can be pre-ordered online, and picked up at Wonder Fair (841 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, KS) during our regular business hours beginning Monday, August 26th. Please choose this shipment method if you have additional art supplies to purchase at Wonder Fair; all art supplies purchased at time of pick-up in store will also be discounted 30% as a special perk for students purchasing a class kit online or in person.
Shop in Person: Prefer to purchase your kit in person, to customize your kit, or do additional shopping? No problem! Wonder Fair is open Monday-Saturday 9:30am-8pm, and Sunday 10am-6pm. Students who purchase a class kit will receive 30% off any additional supplies purchased alongside their kit. All students receive a 20% off Back-to-School discount on all art supplies at Wonder Fair, regardless of kit purchase, through September 12th.
